valley west auxiliary quilt raffle
May 27, 2011The Valley West Community Hospital Auxiliary holds their annual quilt raffle this year at the Sandwich Fair. The queen-sized quilt, “Autumn Crazy,” made and quilted by Joyce Spoor of Somonauk, is currently on display in the Valley West Gift Shop until September, and will be moved to the Auxiliary booth in Building 1, just north of the Horticulture Building, once the Sandwich Fair begins.
Raffle tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. The drawing is Sunday, Sept. 11, at the close of the Fair. Winners do not need to be present. All proceeds benefit the Valley West Community Hospital Auxiliary, who donated more than $300,000 for hospital equipment over the past nine years.
