Valley West Auxiliary Plans Two Events
September 16, 2009Valley West Community Hospital’s Auxiliary is planning two fall events: a wine tasting and the annual fall luncheon.
The third annual wine tasting event is Friday, October 16, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the Fox Valley Older Adults Community Center, located at 1406 Suydam Road, in Sandwich. This fall fundraiser offers many excellent wines, hosted by Herman’s Package Store of Ottawa, as well as hors d’oeuvres, desserts, door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, and a chance to enjoy the pleasant company of friends. Tickets are $20.00 per person and can be purchased in advance from Auxiliary members, or in the hospital. Tickets are also available at the door.
Later in October, the Valley West Auxiliary hosts a Fall Luncheon. The luncheon is Wednesday, October 28, 12 p.m., at St. John Lutheran Church, located at 235 S. Green Street, in Somonauk. The program, presented by local merchants Take II and Designer Discounts, features a fashion show with current apparel and accessories. Tickets are $10.00 and are available at the hospital Gift Shop or from Auxiliary Board members.
