Diabetes Support Group to discuss healthy snacking
April 24, 2006The next regular meeting of the Sandwich-area Diabetes Support Group at Valley West Community Hospital will be held on Thursday, May 4, at 6:30 p.m. in Conference Room B on the Lower Level of the hospital.
The guest speaker for this session will be Becky Andrews, RD, LD, CDE. Becky is a dietician with the Kish Health System Diabetes Education Center. She will be discussing that great American pastime of snacking, its implications for diabetes control, and how we can find more healthy alternatives for between-meal snacks. Pre-registration is not necessary for this program.
