The Cancer Center at Valley West Community Hospital in Sandwich, IL, treats cancers and blood diseases. Our infusion suite is equipped with clinical recliners for comfortable administration of chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy medications. The center also has an onsite Lab for blood tests. The Valley West Cancer Center serves southern DeKalb County and parts of Kendall, LaSalle and Kane counties, including the communities and surrounding areas of Sandwich, Somonauk, Plano, Yorkville and Aurora.
Dr. Ramesh Kola, Medical Director, Valley West Oncology Department, is board certified in oncology, hematology & internal medicine, and experienced in hospice/palliative care and has been treating cancer patients since 1985. He has been on the Valley West medical staff since 2005. He sees and treats patients in Sandwich and Aurora and also is on staff at all local and area hospitals.
